I have just got a new Toshiba Satellite on Win 7 and have the same issue with the touchpad changing the zoom - I have tried to follow the instructions above, but in toshlba and Printers' I don't have a 'mouse' option! Try this link from Tosh support groups, basically it appears theres an option to disable this zoom feature.
